Mon nom est Christophe Petit, j'ai 40 ans et je suis né le 21 mai 1973 à Compiègne (France).
Mon arrivé au Canada a été le tournant de ma vie: nouveau pays, nouvelle culture, nouveau amis, en bref une nouvelle vie.
Bien que nostalgique de mon pays d'origine, je me suis installé à Montréal ou j’ai rencontré des gens merveilleux.
Au mois de mai 2012, lors d'une visite chez le médecin pour une toux persistante, une radiographie des poumons, mènera 2 semaines plus tard à un diagnostic auquel personne n`est préparé : Cancer du poumon. Difficile à accepter, car de ma vie je n’ai jamais été fumeur!
Depuis ce jour, je ne cesse de me battre: me battre pour la vie, pour ma famille, pour ceux qui m`aiment, se battre pour être meilleur humain. Voila donc pourquoi j'ai décidé de créer

My name is Christophe Petit. I am 40 years old and I am born on May 21, 1973 in Compiègne, France.
My arrival in Canada was a turning point in my life; a new country, a new culture, new friends; in short, a new life. Nostalgic at time, I’ve established myself in Montreal where I met wonderful people.
Last May 2012 following a consultation with my doctor due to a persisting cough, I subsequently had x-rays of my lungs, two weeks later which led to a diagnostic in which no one is prepared to hear. Lung cancer. Difficult to accept since I’ve never smoked in my entire life.
Since then, I’ve never stopped to fight, to fight for my life, for my family, for the people who love me and my friends, to fight to be a better human being; that is why I decided to create
The Flight of Hope Foundation.
